Victor Ivanovich Zhydyayev was born in april of 1938 in Ulan-Ude. He graduated from Irkutsk Art College and during the period of 30 years he was a chief teacher of special disciplines in an Honoured Art Worker of Buryatia.

His trend in Art is Symbolism, that is, Modernism. Such famous artists as Vrubel, Preraphaelites, Klimpt, Foux, Dali and Leonardo are near his heart.

He attaches a great importance to a delicate modelling of forms, throughness and refinement of lines, to polychromy of colour. He paints in oils and graphics:
1) a pen and ink
2) a pencil and paper.

Victor Zhydyayev would like to exhibit his pictures abroad, and to make a contact works made to order (drawing and painting).
